Welcome to The Cabin on the Canal, a spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath home in the peaceful Three Rivers community just south of Sunriver. With approximately 2,500 square feet, the home features two king bedrooms, two queen bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, central heating and A/C, a washer and dryer, and dedicated workspaces in both king bedrooms. Outside is where this property really shines. Enjoy the private hot tub, fenced backyard, two gas fire tables, gas grill, yard games, and our fully covered upper deck outdoor living area—giving you a comfortable place to enjoy the backyard rain, snow, or shine. During the warmer months, enjoy the private dock and seasonal canal access to the Deschutes River. We provide kayaks, inflatable paddleboards, tubes, and life jackets for guest use. Traveling with your dog? We’ve made that easier, too. The fenced backyard provides room to enjoy the outdoors, and our garage dog station is stocked with helpful supplies for your four-legged family members. Whether you're visiting for skiing, hiking, biking, golf, days on the water, or simply some downtime in Central Oregon, the cabin gives everyone room to gather, relax, and enjoy the area.
Other Details to Note
SEASONAL CANAL: The home is directly on the canal, just a few homes from where it connects with the Deschutes River. Water levels typically begin to drop in the fall as seasonal water management changes. During the winter months, the canal does not flow. Water generally returns around April or May, depending on annual water conditions and operations. DOG-FRIENDLY: Dogs are welcome! We have a fully fenced backyard and a dog station in the garage with supplies for guest use. Please include all pets on your reservation and review our pet rules before arrival. WATER ACTIVITIES: Kayaks, inflatable paddleboards, tubes, and life jackets are provided during the water season. Use of the dock and water equipment is at guests’ own risk. Water levels and conditions can vary throughout the season. HOT TUB: The private hot tub is available year-round. Please follow the posted hot tub rules and supervise children at all times. WINTER TRAVEL: Central Oregon weather can change quickly. During winter months, snow and icy conditions are possible, so guests should come prepared for winter driving conditions. WILDLIFE: This is a natural Central Oregon setting where deer, birds and other wildlife are frequently seen. Please enjoy wildlife from a safe distance and do not feed them. Guests have access to the entire home, garage, and fenced backyard, including the private hot tub, fully covered outdoor living area, gas grill, two gas fire tables, and seasonal private dock. The garage also houses our dog station, stocked with supplies to make traveling with your four-legged family members easier. During the water season, guests may use the provided kayaks, inflatable paddleboards, tubes, and life jackets to enjoy the canal and access the Deschutes River. Entry to the home and garage is through smart locks. Your personal access code works for both, making arrival and access easy throughout your stay. A few clearly marked owner and supply storage areas are locked and reserved for property operations. A printed homebook is available inside the cabin with helpful information about the property, amenities, Wi-Fi, hot tub, water activities, dog supplies, checkout information, and local recommendations.
